Chibi Newfoundland-and-Labrador

My OC's for the canadian province of Newfoundland-and-Labrador. They're twins because honestly, who can distinguish those two land masses? Not a lot of people. I still have difficulties xD.

Kevin Smallwood is the eldest. He's the Newfoundland part, the island. He's overprotective and the most extraverted of the two. The only way to physically recognize him: his bangs are on the left while his twin's are on the right.

Marc Smallwood is the youngest. He's the Labrador part, the mainland. He's probably the most mature of the two and a very silent person. He used to be Quebec territory before a British law gave the land to Newfoundland (I don't really know why though.) without Quebec's assent. Which sort of angered Quebec. The conflict as died now though. But Kevin won't let anyone take away his twin! Though Marc is perhaps secretly plotting to gain independance from his brother...

As for the dog...well, it's obviously Marc's because it's a Labrador retriever. He's called Mister Hyde. Or just Hyde. (the first known blond labrador was called Ben of Hyde, according to wiki) This young fellow keeps wandering in Canada's house and breaking-and-entering in Quebec's room. He likes to chew on things left on the floor (hockey jerseys, shoes, socks, tissue boxes...)

Yes, I will do all the provinces. And no, I don't follow the IAmMatthewian project designs because I had my own character designs before I learnt about that project. And yes, I plan on doing some comics...if only I find the time.

It's always very appreciated because while I know well about my province's history (Quebec) and Canada's history in general, I don't know each province's personal history and the interesting facts that goes with it. Or just general facts like that.
